Professions:
View: In working life as elsewhere, the view, or perspective are essential. If the view is expanded a bit it will reveal a planet suffering from tremendous waste and senseless exploitation. Therefore it is of most importance not to work in line with industries with a single pointed focus on growth without reason (which of course also will have to include the major part of governmental agencies and institutions).

A quite illustrative and funny example of the thesis about “proof by contradiction” or “reductio ad absurdum“. Fx with reference, among many other things to the ongoing financial crisis:  I admit, partly for the fun of it, but anyway – a couple of times during my employment at DMA, at the annual  salary negotiation I proposed to cut my wage with 50% – and every time I left the table with more than double of my proposal – the system couldn’t handle such a reverse order”. Of course money wasn’t the only driver and motivator.

I had some fine years in Greenland, acting on site, with a more practical approach to reasonable solutions. As i was sent back to the Cph. Main office, I came to realize that during those years the Danish Maritime Authority was filled with feminist leader, with no sense of maritime realty, or reality at all. Regulations run amoc.
On the brick of gynarchy, those fe-men were totally brainwashed to play a dirty power play, and by their derailed nature, masters in manipulation. I couldn’t stand to be a part of that femi-team. And, of course the where tons of white knights supporting those feminists – just like the sailors in Homer’s Odyssey, lured by those sirenes with beautiful voices – but in fact shoved to be ugly dangerous creatures.

Some AB seamen on bord from Milwaukee to Siberia. They signed of in a port north of Vladivostok – mostly because the chief officer ordered them to paint the deck cranes in temperatures around -30 Celsius. They came with a ferry to Japan – it was in the hey-days of seaman union boss Preben Möller Hansen.

Remarks

A little “hate speech”. During the reign of Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, working conditions at Danish Governmental Agencies became very repulsive and rude – a rigid form of Dictator-Ship-Like developed inside Govn. Administrations and goals were accomplished despite nearly any kind of methods and means. Maybe legal but definitely not legitimate – a behavior, Mafia-Look-Alike style spread from top to bottom, and became the order of those days. A fear based culture
(Maybe exaggerated a little bit as to make the point clear)

At 2006-07, at an age of 53, due to  a natural re-valuation I therefore resigned from my position at The Danish Maritime Authority. One of the main causes was my focus on energy and environmental factor during the development of a government plan to double up size of the Danish Shipping industry – a focus which was regarded as very inappropriate – despite it was my field of responsibility.
And, the disgusting development of the cooperate state. Freedom reached absolute zero.

During the course of years of the so-called working life I took some years of the marks due to life crises, and as to gain some freedom, and space and time for i.a. visions and dreams, to practice and for personal studies, childcare, an to deal with a evil and  dirty divorse, welfare etc.
How else could one get time for days in nature, ponder about the state of personal, local and global affairs – and to read/study Longchenpa, Jes Bertelsen, I Kant, J W Goethe, Jung, Dante,  Einstein, Heraclitus, Heidegger, Stephen King, Satre, Rudolf Steiner, The Bible etc, – paint your bike and cut the firewood’s ?….and love!
